I have downloaded Crosstalker. It seems to be a great program, if I can just figure out the correct sequence. Is there not a plan to include a small tutorial in the zip file or at least have a small one here?

Do I...morph my character, save it to a folder...then open it with crosstalker (then apply this created "morphed" pose to the clothing I want to use?). ...this doesn't seem to work.

Or...do I...open the character and the clothing both in crosstalk, and save them each as pose files...

I've tried several different options and haven't gotten anything to work yet.

Let me say...I am using Poser6 and I am trying to get some clothes to fit Victoria 4 when she is in a well-endowed morph pose.

I'm sure this program will do what I want, I just can't figure out how to get started... Embarassed

Hmmm...well I thought I understood what to do. And, I think I am using the program correctly now.

But, this is all I got when I applied crosstalker to a clothing figure for V2:

{
version
{
number 4
}

figure
{
}
##JCM Controller MAT pose created with Hogsoft Crosstalker: www.hogsoft.com

It looks to me like it's basically not telling the clothes to do anything....

Maybe I need to do a re-install on the program. Also, I am running Poser from the G drive...not the C ...I don't know if that makes a difference.

As far as I know "Crosstalk" has nothing to do with clothes or morphs in them. It's something to help you when you have more that one copy of the same figure in a scene

Sorry about the confusion... the initil frenzy on this subject has long since been pruned from the Renderosity forum!

To Explain...

Crosstalker creates "JCM Control Poses" for clothing items. The idea is, you select a conforming clothing item in the interface, and create 1-to-n "JCM Control Poses" for the clothing item. Each control pose, when applied to the clothing item in the Poser scene, will link the JCM and FBM morphs in that clothing to the appropriate figure number in the scene.

So...

You create a set of 2 JCM control Poses for a clothing item...
Make a scene with two V3 figures and that clothing item conformed to them both...
The crosstalk is all messed up... both items of clothing follow the morphs of figure 1!!!
Apply the JCM Control Morphs from Crosstalker to the clothing items, using the JCMCM relating to their underlying figure number and, hey presto, each clothing item's morphs will follow their underlying figure!

That's the general idea:)

Howard:))

Okay, thanks for the info. I think I was trying to do something it wasn't necessarily designed for. I'm sure it works well for it's intended use. I normally just render a scene with 1 character. I think I need to learn to use magnets to get the clothes to "stretch" to fit certain morphs on the character.

"Morph Manager" by Mr X might be what you need,
www.morphography.uk.vu/mmhelp.html

or Wardrobe Wizard by Phil C
